How it works: EIS meets AI

Nevisense measures the skin's bioelectrical signature using our unique EIS (electrical impedance spectroscopy) - technology.
By capturing the skin’s response across multiple frequencies and depths, Nevisense generates detailed data reflecting tissue structure and cellular organization. Embedded AI algorithms analyze this information to identify deviations associated with skin cancer or changes in skin barrier function.
This non-invasive method provides objective support to clinical decisions, increasing diagnostic confidence and reducing unnecessary procedures.

How Nevisense Technology Works

  1. The skin is measured
    Nevisense is placed directly against the skin to perform a non-invasive EIS measurement.
  2. A detailed bioelectrical signature is captured
    Imperceptible signals capture 700 data points across multiple frequencies and depths.
  3. Cellular properties are revealed
    The resulting data reflect changes in tissue structure and cellular organization.
  4. The data are analyzed
    Embedded AI algorithms identify patterns and deviations associated with the measured application.

Applications: From cancer detection to skin barrier research

Nevisense is CE-marked and FDA-approved for clinical use in melanoma detection, and also supports the identification of keratinocyte cancers like BCC and SCC. Beyond cancer, it is increasingly used in dermatological research.
