Melanoma skin
cancer detection
Early detection that saves lives
Melanoma is one of the most aggressive skin cancers – but also highly treatable when detected early. Nevisense supports dermatologists with objective, non-invasive diagnostic data to improve accuracy and confidence in clinical decision-making.
Why Nevisense
-
Detect melanoma at its most curable stage.
-
Decrease unnecessary biopsies by 14%.
-
Rule out the risk of missing a melanoma with 97% sensitivity.
AI-powered diagnostic support
Nevisense uses electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) combined with AI algorithms to detect structural changes in skin tissue. It provides a Nevisense score that helps clinicians evaluate suspicious lesions beyond visual inspection.
The Nevisense Melanoma score
The measurement provides 700 data points that are analyzed by the Nevisense proprietary algorithm (AI). Giving the clinician an actionable risk assessment score between 0-10. 0-3 indicate a negative score with a 99% negative predictive value for melanoma. 4-10 indicate a positive score with an increasing level of risk for melanoma.

Supporting dermatologists and skin cancer specialists
Nevisense is a valuable tool for:
• Dermatologists seeking to improve early detection
• Skin cancer clinics handling high patient volumes
• General practitioners with limited access to specialist tools

Increased diagnostic confidence
Clinical studies show that Nevisense improves sensitivity in melanoma detection, reduces unnecessary biopsies and supports more consistent evaluations between professionals.

Seamless clinical integration
The measurement process is fast, non-invasive and easy to integrate into dermatology workflows, with immediate results displayed on screen for point-of-care decisions.
